I like cheese.

Do brain cells wither like unwatered plants?

My brain feels all withered and one of the reasons is that my baby howled all night long. I got an hour of sleep.

He wasn't hungry
or thirsty
or poopy
or wet
or gassy
or teething
or earachey
or stuffy
or concerned about the war
or taking a stand on illegal immigration
or worried about the stock market
or horrified about the possibility of Jeb Bush running for president.

For reasons that escaped the best of my mothering instincts he felt the need to howl until he collapsed into a teary heap in the center of my bed. He woke up perfectly chipper when the alarm went off.

Little Stinker.

  3. Maybe he couldn't fall to sleep and wanted someone else to know it. That's what I do.

  6. OH this is just too strange!!! My little one, slept horrible last night. An hour after going to bed, screaming. 3:45, he just woke up screamed continuosly for 30 seconds, fell asleep. Woke up 1/2 hour later and did the same thing. Not as bad as you, but I will have to go with the planet alignment.
